Sue Crossfield studied Ceramics at Manchester College of Art and Design and gained a BA Hons. She spent thirty years teaching in schools and Adult Education Centres before concentrating solely on being a ceramic artist. For the last ten years Sue has been selected to exhibit her work at leading ceramic events and established galleries in the UK and Europe.
Sue’s work is often inspired by natural forms from the sea and beach. Seahorses, shells and fish in bright marine colours and unusual decoration, contrast with pebble and boulder forms in natural textures and tones, which sometimes incorporate plants.
